28 March 2009 – My main reason for photographing tonight was to photograph Bullet for my Valentine and it was awesome.

28 March 2009 – Tonight I photographed Fightstar at The Royal Albert Hall at a super good event that was put together by the people from the Teenage Cancer Trust.

14 March 2009 – Yesterday I worked for a really amazing company, Emily Design, on a promotional shoot with a band called The Young Guns. They have just recently released their first single (In the Night) and after seeing their music video I was really excited to work with them. They played a show last night at Islington Academy so I met up with them a few hours before the show and it was really a pleasure working with them. They consist of 5 really down to earth guys who have a lot of passion for what they are doing as a band. I ended up staying for the first 6 songs of their show and I never really wanted to leave until they were done but work was calling so I had to make a move.

14 March 2009 – Tonight I photographed 36 Crazy Fists live at The Electric Ballroom in Camden Town for an interview that was done with them before the show. I had the WORST headache in the world for some reason and that really put a damper on my mood for this show because of the pounding I knew I would be taking during the show, it is always a lot worse being right in front by the loud speakers as you can imagine. However, in saying that I had a really good time and saw some special friends up in the front row that I got to speak to for a bit before the actual show. These are a few of the shots that I took and and I will try and get a copy of the interview and post it on here when I can. I just want to say that this band definitely know what hardcore is about.

09 March 2009 – Tonight I photographed Arif Mirabdolbaghi from Protest the Hero for an interview that he was doing. I met with him at the Underworld in Camden Town and he was really cool. I was meant to shoot the entire band but they had a few problems because their tour manager had a bunch of his stuff stolen out of their hotel in Sheffield and his laptop with all the tour scheduling was taken and he had no idea what appointments were happening when so it was all really chaotic. I was a bit disappointed as I took a bunch of stuff with me and some really good ideas that I was hoping to create but in the end it worked out good either way.

07 March 2009 – Last night I shot Rise Against at the Roundhouse. It was an incredible show and I honestly feel that they are getting better and better as time goes on. I won’t argue that there is a lot of bands out there that are musically more talented than they are but I would have to fight the fact that I believe there is no one else more convincing to me that this is their passion and it shows in their live performance more than I have ever witnessed before. Their front man, Tim McIlrath, is my favourite person to watch and enjoy because he really feels and believes every word that they sing about.

05 March 2009 – Dear Reader are currently in the UK on a tour to launch their album in Germany and I worked with them yesterday in Hyde Park to shoot a few press promotional images for them to use with the launch. The weather was really terrible when I woke up in the morning but as we met it just seemed to break for us and last for the entire time. I am really happy with these photos and cannot wait to see them used.

02 March 2009 – Dear Reader is currently touring London for this week and I photographed them last night at Barfly in Camden Town and although the lighting was really hard to work with, I did get a few shots that I really like.
