Papa Roach Portraits
17 June 2009 – Earlier today I shot portraits with the guys from Papa Roach and it was really a privilege to work with them. A lot of friends (and bands I work with) really look up to these guys so I felt like I had a lot of pressure on me.
Papa Roach at Oxford Academy
17 June 2009 – Tonight I had my first Papa Roach experience and it was a super good one. I shot a few portraits with the guys today and decided to stay for their live show and I am so glad that I did. I am not sure if anyone else has ever had the same thing happen to them where you are at a show and everything is so good that you feel stupid for not supporting the band for the last ten years. This was one of those moments for me exactly because I felt myself tapping my feet and trying to sing along to words that I never knew.
After the Ordeal Redbull Bedroom Jam
13 June 2009 – Today I shot with the band After the Ordeal as part of their Red Bull Bedroom Jam. It was quite a hectic day as the broadcast was being pushed live to the Download Festival as apposed to the internet so everything was on a larger scale then normal.
Alexisonfire at The Borderline
11 June 2009 – Alexisonfire played three really intimate and small shows at The Borderline in Soho and tonight was the last night of the 3 shows.
The Asteroids Galaxy Tour
10 June 2009 – The Asteroids Galaxy Tour is currently supporting the Hello Katy Tour and I had a LOT of fun shooting with them.
Katy Perry at Sheperds Bush
10 June 2009 – Tonight I shot with Katy Perry at Shepherds Bush Empire which was insane. Never before have I seen a pit that full with photographers.
Billy Talent Snaps
09 June 2009 – The guys from Billy Talent were in London touring and I got to interview Ben (front man) and Jonathan (Bassist) on their up and coming album due next month (13 July 2009).
The Gaslight Anthem at The Forum
04 June 2009 – Tonight I photographed The Gaslight Anthem at the London Forum in Kentish Town. It was my most anticipated live show of this year and it blew my mind in so many ways possible and I can definitely say that it was my favourite live show this year and probably all in all.
Jelluzz in the City
02 June 2009 – Last week I worked with a local British rap artist that goes by the name of Jelluzz and this has to be one of my favourite shoots that I have worked on this year, not only because of the results that I got but also because of how much I enjoyed working with this guy and the fact that I don’t normally work with Urban artists.
