I am Marcus Maschwitz, I reside in London (United Kingdom) and I work as a freelance professional photographer specializing in music press, live and portraiture photography.

I have been shooting photographs on a professional level since 2002 and I still get excited and inspired by it every day. My images have been used in magazines and publications around the world as well as for band promotional material and CD artwork.

This blog is to focus purely on the work I do in the music industry and I will be doing my best to keep it up to date with my latest shoots.

I have no philosophy about photography. Like writing or breathing air, I just started doing it. And somehow it all seems to work. I love it and have a passion for everything and everyone that I have the privilege of photographing.
