Anberlin at The Garage

13 July 2011 – Tonight Anberlin played an amazing completely free show at The Garage.

I’ve never seen the guys play live before so I had no idea what to expect but I was pretty sure that it was going to be good based on their recorded material and their music videos.

The guys honestly put on an incredible performance and every person in the crowd sang every song out loud … that is one of my favourite things about live music … a connection between random people all based on a love for a bands song-writing. There were a few issues on stage with pedals smoking and cables breaking but the guys worked around it and made sure that the crowd never had to wait around bored at all. They killed it.

If you haven’t seen Anberlin live then make sure to do so soon and if you have never heard any of their material go to the record store right now and make spend money in a worthwhile way. You will not regret it.
