Chromatone Promo Photoshoot
17 October 2009 – Not so long ago I had a photo shoot with the guys from Chromatone and I was super excited because their stuff is amazing.
Their stuff isn’t really what I would find myself listening to everyday, although I am super open minded when it comes to music, but when they showed me their stuff I couldn’t believe how “funky” it was. They make the kind of music that makes you want to dance no matter how rubbish a dancer you are and I loved that about them.
They had just finished recording and working on a really good 4 track EP which they were ready to launch so the photos were going to be used for the EP layout as well as their marketing for the EP and just in general for shows and flyers that they were going to begin doing.
The guys were really nice and a pleasure to work with and I really hope for good things for them. If you are into the sounds of artists like Jamiroquai, Maroon 5 and Earth, Wind and Fire then make sure to give these guys a listen and even try make it to one of their shows. Support local music, these guys have a lot to give …. and their stuff is fresh as hell.

Beautiful photos of such good looking talent. Purchased the EP at the launch and I’m dancing since. She tries is my favrit. Good work all of you.

@Shirley, the guys are super. Loving that track too.
@Jack, thank you for the props. Always appreciated. The location is just outside of Waterloo station kind of inline with the Eye. It is an amazing tunnel just full of grafitti. Always changes but always something worth seeing. Google it.
