Enter Shikari at Hammersmith Apollo

23 March 2012 – Tonight I also photographed Enter Shikari playing at Hammersmith Apollo and pretty much setting the bar for live shows there.

Honestly one of my favourite bands at the moment both recorded and live. It’s really hard to explain what a live Enter Shikari show is like for someone who hasn’t experienced one but it’s mind-blowing.

The guys really are thinking outside the box and making sure that they are remembered and that all their fans feel spoilt. The stage and lighting rig tonight was HUGE and super bright … explosive almost. At times I thought I was experiencing the rave scene in the first Blade movie where the blood pours out the ceiling … it’s weird but I probably wouldn’t have been shocked if that really did happen.

All the members put every drop of energy into their live shows and that’s only one of the reasons I love it. I’m not going to babble on anymore because I feel that I have done so enough, but please, whatever you do, make sure to go to the next Enter Shikari show you see being played. You will never regret it.

Amazing.
