23 April 2012 – I’ve worked with the guys from Attention Thieves a few times now and was excited to shoot with them at The Garage tonight.

The guys are definitely moving forward and it’s great seeing them getting better with each show they play.

04 April 2013 – Tonight I photographed the guys from Deaf Havana playing an acoustic show at Union Chapel.

I have been looking forward to this show since it was announced and knew that it was going to be special to hear the guys play their stuff in such a special way.

These songs are just as rad acoustically as they are normally and it was great to see them play in such a special venue.

I’m a big fan and loved this show a lot. It’s not something they will be doing often so if you missed it then you really missed out.

Look them up if you don’t know them. Cannot wait for their next album.

22 March 2013 – Tonight I photographed the guys from Finch playing at Brixton Academy in celebration of the 10 year anniversary since the release of their album “What It Is To Burn”.

It’s been a REALLY long time since every person in the crowd sang along to every word of every single song … amazing!

Never thought I would get to see these guys play, let alone get the chance to document them playing.

18 March 2013 – Tonight I photographed the guys from What Now playing a really cool show at The Boileroom down in Guildford.

As always the guys are getting the set tighter each time I see them and I definitely think they are feeling their performance more and more.

I love the album they have just released and worked closely with them on the imaging for it so it’s great to see those tracks being brought to life.

17 March 2013 – Tonight I took a few photographs of Miss May I opening the show at The Roundhouse.

As always, the guys were spot on and went down really well with the crowd.

Humble, Fun, Tight … There’s just something cool about them. I like it.

06 February 2013 – I was really lucky to have worked so closely with The Blackout on their recent album artwork and release campaign.

Start The Party came out towards the end of January but we started working on imagery for it in August of last year. I already posted a few portraits that we shot while out in Ibiza and although there are many more I would like to show I thought it would be better to post a few others that have been used that we shot back in London.

The whole concept for the album was “party” so we kept that going throughout most of the shots which was an absolute mess to clean up afterwards. Some of the shots are meant to be during the “party” and some are meant to be the aftermath of the “party”, especially some of the Ibiza portraits.

I also had a really strong idea of shooting a double exposure of each of the guys which would be quite a bit darker than that other “party” shots we had taken … so I photographed each of the guys in quite a “normal” (even serious) pose and then another shot of each of the guys doing something that had more of a “party” feel to it. I love the way that these shots came out and they were used in the album artwork which looks amazing.

I love these guys as a band and as people, it was an absolute pleasure to work with them on this and I believe in the album as much as they do. Hopefully it won’t be the last and I might possibly post a few more images at a later stage but for now take the time out to look them up and buy a copy of the album … it’s a great banger worth every penny.

01 February 2013 – I’ve worked with Zebra & Giraffe several times since the band started out and I was excited to work with them again on some new imagery for their most recent release of “The Wisest Ones”.

Greg approached me with a lot of visual ideas that he had while writing the lyrics to a lot of the tracks and we exchanged several ideas on email before I flew over to South African to work on this.

This was definitely one of my favourite shoots especially in terms of the results because I feel every shot we did was beautiful and mostly usable with very little retouching … pretty much just some colour correction and skin clean-ups.

A few of the shots were used in the album artwork and tour posters which has been really exciting but I haven’t even had chance to go through all the images yet because we shot so many on the day.

These are just a few of my favourites.

Make sure to check these guys out … they’re based in South Africa but I feel their sound is way beyond that and they will be breaking ground around the rest of the world soon.

30 January 2013 – I’ve worked with the guys from What Now quite a few times over the years especially recently with the upcoming release of their new album “Move Like A Sinner” and this included shooting some new images that the guys could use for their release press campaign.

We opted to keep the shots simple and just mission the city together one evening exploring alleyways and streets which worked out well.

The guys album is out in March and I’ve heard it (MANY times) so can assure you that it’s got the potential to be huge. Make sure to look them up and support one of the most DIY hard working bunch of guys I know.

2013 January 25 – I’ve been working with the guys in The Blackout quite a bit lately with the release of Start The Party so it was amazing seeing them play a bunch of tracks off of that album tonight and shoot some photos.

I’ve always made it obvious on here that I really am a fan of their work, even before we had worked together, and a show like tonight reminds me exactly why I like them. They’re explosive, tight and really entertaining to watch … what more could you ask for …

Tonight was great and I love hearing bits of the new album played live. If you haven’t got a copy of Start The Party yet then make sure to get on it as soon as possible. It’s a great album and definitely my favourite of everything they have done so far.

Super nice guys doing what they love and definitely worth supporting. Look them up.
