Incubus at Alexandra Palace

04 November 2011 – Tonight I photographed the guys from Incubus playing in the beautiful setting that is Alexandra Palace (or Ally Pally to those in the know).

I’ve lived in London, permanently, now coming on three years and for some stupid reason I have never ventured out to this venue. I couldn’t believe how amazing the view of London city is and it was especially nice tonight with the early Guy Fawkes celebrations going on in the distance.

Anyway, back to the show …

Incubus is one of those bands that you know is just going to be amazing live and as always they smashed it. This was the second time that I was working with them and this time the venue was a lot bigger but they filled up the setting and smashed it with a great long set and HUGE sound.

I loved this show and it was fun to shoot although I have to admit that I enjoyed the one last time at The Forum a lot more. This is purely based on my working experience because this stage was SUPER high which is obviously always good for the crowd.

Not sure when Incubus is playing again but DO MAKE SURE to get on it next time and not miss out on a great live experience. Their latest album If Not Now, When? is great too.
