29 May 2011 – Failsafe played the Macbeth stage today at Slam Dunk Festival.

It’s been almost a year since I saw these guys play last and that’s sad actually. They’re so good live and their music is catchy as hell. They’ve been working on their 3rd album which is going to be great and I’m really looking forward to getting my hands on it.

Unfortunately the stage was in a hall with quite a lot of ambient lighting so I think the mood for photos isn’t the greatest but I did take a few anyway.

21 June 2010 – Tonight was the second time that I had seen / photographed the guys from Failsafe and it was amazing to see how far they have stepped it up in the last eight months.

It’s not that I thought they were lacking in anything last time round but it just seemed as though they were that much more confident and the sound as a whole seemed so much bigger.

As a band they really have a winning formula of fast paced instrumentals mixed with perfect melodies and harmonies. Their set was shorter than I had hoped and they had to stop basically as the crowd had started warming up.

The guys are currently working on their 3rd album which is going to be a cracker and I look forward to it. Make sure to check out these guys whether is be live or on their recorded material as they are both equally good.

27 October 2009 – The surprise band for me for the night had to be the guys from Failsafe as I had heard quite a bit about them but never really heard them and then they came out and just grabbed my attention from the start.

I really don’t like comparing bands because it’s really hard but they had a bit of Rise Against and a bit of Hot Water Music in their stuff and those are two of my favourite all time bands so it felt natural to open my ears and give them a good listen. I really enjoyed this one and have added their album to my wish list because I think it will be a good one. I just love how much energy each member had, that’s my essential show maker. Haha.
