13 January 2010 – In December I got to work with one of my favourite bands again back in South Africa. Zebra and Giraffe are still quite new in music terms but they really have big potential and I absolutely love the work they are doing.
03 December 2009 – Tonight I shot photographs of Zebra and Giraffe as they opened for The Killers in Johannesburg at The Dome. These guys are one of my favourite bands that I have worked with and it has been over a year since I had seen them last play.
15 November 2008 – Wow, I love this photograph. It is one of the 39000+ still photographs that I shot for the Zebra and Giraffe Oxymoron music video. I love this photo so much. This is of Darren Leader and he is the drummer for the band. He has such a cool style when he plays and is genuinely a super nice humble guy.
13 October 2008 – I photographed Zebra and Giraffe last night and as always it was a really good show. Check them out now if you haven’t.
05 October 2008 – Today I photographed some promotional photographs with Alan Shenton for a magazine interview that is being published on him in the next few weeks. I think he is really one of the most talented and passionate guitarists I have ever met.
19 April 2008 – Zebra and Giraffe is ready to go and again I am going to push them because I think the album is awesome and going to do super well. Greg Carlin is the brains behind this project and this was my second shoot with him. I really like his ideas and am super excited to be working with him. He was filming a music video yesterday for his first single and these are some of the shots I got in between takes.
04 April 2008 – The debut album for Zebra and Giraffe is going to be hitting shelves super soon and you really need to look out for it because it is amazing and definitely going to take off in a huge way. Greg Carlin is the mastermind behind the album and I shot some photographs with him on Saturday for use with press articles about the album.
