Underoath at Koko

11 March 2010 – I am going to start off by saying that I have never bought or owned an Underoath album before but this was my second time shooting photos of them and I really was excited leading up to this show because of the power from last time.

The show tonight was a quick reminder as the guys were amazing from the first song and the crowd was singing along to every song which is always a good way to get excited. The entire set was recorded and you could purchase a live cd recording of the show that you could take home and right now I am kicking myself for not having done so because it would have been an amazing memory reminder of the raw power that these guys have.

The lighting was still quite good but the pit became fuller so I basically stayed in the same spot till we were done which is really a pity because the most exciting guy to watch had to be the drummer Aaron and I didn’t have a good view point of him to get a worthwhile shot. Don’t get me wrong, these are all hugely talented musicians but Aaron plays with the weirdest and most “hardest” style I have ever witnessed and I cannot believe how much it got me hyped up.

Underoath are super good and stand for a rad cause with positive lyrics so make sure to check them out.
