Young Guns at Hammersmith Apollo

23 March 2012 – Tonight I photographed the guys from Young Guns playing at the Hammersmith Apollo and I loved hearing tracks from the new album being played live.

The last time I photographed the guys show was at The Forum and they had the lighting rig fail on them which which ended up being a super special show because it seemed intimate and the sound was huge. Tonight the sound was a lot bigger and the guys seemed on point with a great set (although short) which could’ve “sold” them as being more than just the support for tonight.

I have a soft spot for these guys and a definite connection to what they are doing but I also think that they do it all really well.

I cannot wait to see them on there next tour in October as a headline so that their set is longer and just to see how much they grow again by then.

If you haven’t heard of these guys before then you really are missing out so get on it right now.
