La Roux at The Macbeth

15 September 2014 – Tonight I photographed La Roux playing an intimate show at The Macbeth, in association with Spotify and NME, as part of of Jack Rocks.

It’s Uncle Jack’s birthday month so it was a good reason to celebrate … if you need a reason.

As a live band, La Roux, were absolutely spot on and Elly’s vocals were perfect. I can honestly say that I had never really explored their stuff before (besides the stuff I knew from radio) but they created one of the best live shows I’ve been to this year so I am probably going to head to the store and purchase their catalogue.

Great band, perfect performance and a very cool night out, with Jack Daniel’s, in a venue that holds it’s own … make sure to look up the rest of the Jack Rocks events.
