Roy Ayers for Annabel’s

Last week I got to work with the legend that is Roy Ayers … one of the originators of jazz-funk, a key person in the acid jazz movement and one of the most sampled musicians in history. He performed at Annabel’s in Mayfair to a small, but extremely lucky, crowd. We shot a bunch of portraits together, had a great laugh and then I photographed him playing live. What a great entertainer with a great support band behind him.
