The Blackout at Islington Academy

17 – 18 January 2014 – The last 2 nights I joined the guys from The Blackout for their shows at Islington Academy.

Both nights were really different, with one being a play-through of “The Best In Town” along with a few other tracks, but both were equally as good.

The guys have been playing for a while but still have that spark that shows strongly while they play and I honestly love seeing that. They all look like they’re having the best time and it seems like it means the world to them that people join them at their shows.

Honestly one of my favourite live bands and the greatest bunch of people, always a pleasure … make sure to look them up if you haven’t heard of them yet. Hoping this year is a refreshing one for them and that we’ll hear loads more from them soon.

This post is quite long but they are from both shows and I’ve been getting so many requests asking when I will post these up so thought I would get a few more up than normal.
