WATO String Playing Portraits

17 March 2011 – While on tour with the boys from We Are The Ocean recently I sat with Liam, Alfie and Jack to shoot a few portraits of them just playing their instruments.

I’ve never really shot anything like this before but loved most when the guys were just finishing up soundcheck and would carry on playing to themselves and I kind of wanted to hear a bit more of it all. I got them to sit down one at a time and just play something and I lit them up along with the background and shot a few photos of them just doing their thing.

These are just 3 of them out of the bunch that we shot but I like them a lot.
