Wildcard Band Promo

22 August 2009 – I shot some promo press shots for the guys from Wildcard a few days ago and it really was a good time. When they contacted me, they sent me some of the new music that they are working on and I got super excited to be involved in their moving forward.

They are a ‘new’ band having only really gotten together at the end of last year (2008) and and they pull influences from a lot of different genre’s and other bands but I think the main ones that stood out for me when I first heard their stuff was the legend sounds of Bon Jovi, Bruce ‘the boss’ Springsteen and Def Leppard but they have definitely tweeked and experimented to get their own sound.

We met up in Bishops Park on the Thames River and took a walk around shooting in a few different locations and the stuff really came out good. I don’t want to give away too much just yet because the guys are working hard on their Myspace and Press Packs so I will keep some until then. They did say I could get some stuff up now though so these are just a few that I think came out really well.

If you’re into those sounds or anything really catchy then make sure to bookmark these guys somewhere and keep an eye out for them as they are cool and passionate and I am definitely going to be following them from here on.
