Face To Face at the Peel

23 August 2011 – People who know me or follow my work know that Face to Face is a band that most influenced who I became while growing up so working with and seeing them again tonight at the Peel in Kingston was amazing.

It was hot as hell and everyone was sweating on each other but the atmosphere in the room was amazing. I battled shooting this show because everyone was dancing and falling over onto me and I almost popped my knees out a few times because of the low stage but I tried my best to keep my ground so I could shoot a bit while singing along to a super nostalgic set.

Growing up in South Africa back in the day I never thought there would be a time where I would get to see Face to Face live and tonight reminded me even more than last time that these guys are fully into it and are going to keep growing so we are all bound to see more of them in the future. I love that.

The show tonight was put on by the guys at Banquet Records and I recommend you check them out and support their store and shows that they put together.
