28 March 2009 – My main reason for photographing tonight was to photograph Bullet for my Valentine and it was awesome.

I have heard SO much about this band but for some reason I have never really purchased an album of theirs although I have given them a quick listen over. Tonight though I am a fan. They are really incredible live and I was shocked how they came out and just played the show the way that they did from the start. It really was powerful and they seem really tight. I enjoyed their enthusiasm and it made me really get a feel for what they are doing. This band is a favourite of my good friend Warren and I really wished that I could’ve taken him to the show with me.

I also have to add quick that this is without doubt the nicest venue I have ever photographed in and I really wish to see / work with another bunch of bands here soon.

These are some of the photographs I took during the show. I shot the most I have ever shot of a live show before but for some reason I couldn’t stop. I am tired and want to go to bed but wanted to make sure that these go live tonight so I have just randomly selected 20 photographs from the bunch and I think they look alright. When I get a chance I will filter through the others and then post them if I think they are worth while.

I hope you are all well. Marcus

I found these photos while searching for news on Bullet because they just canceled their tour to SA this weekend. These pics are amazing and it makes me more upset that they arent coming.
