Linkin Park at The O2

10 November 2010 – Tonight I photographed the guys from Linkin Park playing at The O2 Arena as the first of two London dates on their “A Thousand Suns” tour.

I am going to say up front that I have never really been a die-hard fan of their stuff and it’s not because I don’t like it or anything but more because I have such a big collection of music and just have never given them the time of day … yet. In saying this I have to admit that this show was probably the best one I have been to yet since I started working in the music scene so many years back (Muse being one of the others). It’s not that I can pinpoint one specific thing that made me feel this way but rather a collection of everything ranging from the stage set, the energy, the crowd, the setlist and even more the sound quality, mix and clarity of the vocals. The O2 has never been my favourite venue to watch a band because of the sound in general but these guys had it spot on and they sounded “HUGE”.

Anyway, as you know by my tone I had a great night.

I am only posting a few photos for now until I have permission to upload a few more.

Amazing pictures!! Its clear to see that Linkin Park are visually spectacular. Chester puts so much energy into live shows that its awe inspiring. We just published our review on our blog, sadly all the pictures were taken using my iPhone from the back of the arena so hopefully our review matched with these pics will give people a real feel of what the evening was like.
