We Are The Ocean play for Free
29 July 2010 – Tonight We Are The Ocean played a super small intimate show for free at the upstairs part of The Garage and it was a rocker.
I knew the lighting would suck (be non existent) for taking photos and that it was going to be really intimate (squashed) to move around and take some good shots but I was just excited to work with the guys again and hear them play their album (Cutting Our Teeth) in its entirety along with some other tracks including my favourite from our time in the recording studio (Get Up).
The night was super cool and the kids in the crowd were going crazy the whole time. I couldn’t believe how much I was sweating and how hot it was but it felt good … it felt real.
Well Done!
I have to say, these are absolutely beautiful!

The lighting was ridiculous, blinding for everyone in the crowd aswell as horrible for photos!
I actually love these photos, they really show how mental and sweaty WATO’s gigs get, and how close they are to their fans.
And I personally think the lightening has made the photos :) <3
